First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests two injection therapies—platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and prolotherapy—to see which better reduces pain and improves foot function in people with plantar fasciitis that hasn't improved with standard care. About 68 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to find a more effective option for easing symptoms and getting people back on their feet.
