Heel pain relief showdown: PRP vs prolotherapy

NCT ID NCT07480967

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests which injection therapy—platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or prolotherapy—works better for people with plantar fasciitis that hasn't improved with usual treatments like rest or stretching. About 68 adults will receive one type of injection, and researchers will measure pain and foot function over time. The goal is to find a more effective way to ease pain and help people get back on their feet.
