First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special physiotherapy program after a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection can reduce pain and improve movement in people with shoulder impingement syndrome. 54 adults aged 30-65 with stage I or II shoulder impingement took part. Half received the special program plus standard care, while the other half got standard care alone. The goal was to find a better, non-surgical treatment option.
