First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at 54 adults with shoulder impingement syndrome, a common cause of shoulder pain. All received a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection, and then half also followed a special 21-day physiotherapy program. The goal was to see if the combined approach improved pain and shoulder function more than standard care alone.
