Wrist injury study pulled before it even started
NCT ID NCT03830775
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled. It planned to test whether a shot of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) — made from a person's own blood — could help heal a common wrist ligament injury (TFCC tear) without surgery. The goal was to see if PRP reduces pain and improves hand function compared to a placebo.
