Wrist injury study pulled before it began

NCT ID NCT03830775

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study planned to see if a treatment called platelet-rich plasma (PRP) could help heal a common wrist injury (TFCC tear) without surgery. PRP uses a patient's own blood, concentrated with healing factors. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
