First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) both inside and around the knee joint works better than just inside the joint for chronic knee arthritis. About 42 adults aged 40-65 with moderate knee arthritis will receive either standard care, PRP inside the joint, or PRP inside and around the joint. The goal is to see if the combined approach reduces pain and improves daily function better than the standard method.
