New proton beam study aims to reduce side effects for young kidney cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a precise type of radiation called proton therapy for children and young adults with kidney tumors like Wilms tumor. The goal is to see if it causes fewer short-term side effects than standard radiation. About 28 people under 30 who need radiation as part of their standard care will take part.
