NCT ID NCT01245712

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how well proton beam radiation works for early-stage breast cancer (stages 0 to II) and what side effects it causes. Researchers want to see if this precise type of radiation can kill cancer cells while causing less damage to healthy tissue and improving how the breast looks after treatment. About 200 women are taking part in this phase 2 trial.
