Summary
This study tested whether adding a special protein drink to an online exercise program helps older adults at risk of muscle loss more than exercise alone. For 12 weeks, participants either did twice-weekly online strength workouts or did the workouts while also drinking a protein supplement twice a day. Researchers measured changes in strength, nutrition, and quality of life to see which approach worked better.
