Summary
This study tested whether adding a special protein drink to an online exercise program helps older adults receiving home care maintain their strength and nutrition better than exercise alone. For 12 weeks, 46 participants aged 70+ either did twice-weekly online strength training or did the same training while also drinking a protein supplement twice daily. Researchers measured changes in physical function, muscle strength, body composition, and quality of life.
