New surgical technique aims to stop leaks after prostate removal
NCT ID NCT04981834
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a simple surgical step called vesicopexy during robot-assisted prostate cancer surgery helps men regain bladder control faster. Researchers will compare two groups of men: one receiving the standard surgery and one receiving the surgery with the added bladder-supporting technique. The main goal is to see if this extra step reduces urinary incontinence and improves quality of life in the months following the operation.
