MRI vs. blood test: which spots deadly prostate cancer better?

NCT ID NCT03784924

Summary

This study aims to find out if a prostate MRI scan is better than a combination of blood and urine tests at detecting aggressive prostate cancer in men who need their first biopsy. Researchers will enroll 950 men who are scheduled for a biopsy but haven't been diagnosed yet. The goal is to improve how doctors decide who needs a biopsy and to create a reference database for future research.
