New MRI coil could spare men unnecessary prostate biopsies

Summary
This study looks at whether a flexible MRI coil can accurately detect aggressive prostate cancers without needing a probe inside the body. About 258 men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer will get an MRI before surgery. The goal is to see if this less invasive method can reduce unnecessary biopsies and better guide treatment decisions.
