Radioactive drugs aim to shrink tumors before prostate removal
NCT ID NCT06881823
Summary
This study aimed to test two experimental radioactive drugs (AAA602 and AAA802) in men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread far. The drugs were designed to target and deliver radiation directly to prostate cancer cells before surgery to remove the prostate. The goal was to see if shrinking tumors before surgery could improve outcomes and delay cancer return. The trial was withdrawn by the sponsor before any patients were enrolled.
