First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested a special type of radiation therapy (SBRT) for early-stage prostate cancer. The goal was to give a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor while protecting nearby healthy tissue like the urethra. 115 men took part, and researchers looked at side effects and how well the treatment controlled the cancer. The approach aims to shorten treatment time and reduce long-term side effects.
