New combo therapy targets returning prostate cancer with precision radiation
NCT ID NCT06105918
First seen Dec 15, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a two-step treatment for men whose prostate cancer has returned after prostate removal surgery. First, doctors use a special scan to find exactly where the cancer is, then deliver targeted radiation. After that, patients receive a radioactive drug that seeks out and destroys remaining cancer cells. The main goal is to check if this combination is safe and to find the best dose. Only 6 men with pelvic-only recurrence are being enrolled.
