Simpler surgery for prostate cancer comeback? study tests One-Side approach
NCT ID NCT04271579
Summary
This study is for men whose prostate cancer has returned after initial surgery. It aims to find out if removing potentially cancerous lymph nodes from just one side of the pelvis is as effective at controlling the cancer as the standard practice of removing them from both sides. The goal is to see if the simpler, one-sided surgery can delay the need for further drug treatments while possibly causing fewer side effects like leg swelling.
