One-Side surgery tested for prostate cancer comeback
NCT ID NCT04271579
Summary
This study is for men whose prostate cancer has returned after initial surgery. It tests whether removing pelvic lymph nodes from just the side where a scan shows cancer is as effective at controlling the disease as removing them from both sides. The goal is to see if the one-sided approach can delay the need for further drug treatments while potentially causing fewer side effects like leg swelling.
