First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to give radiation for prostate cancer that aims to reduce side effects. Twenty men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer will receive a lower dose of radiation to the whole prostate but a higher dose to the tumor itself, using a special MRI-guided machine. The main goal is to see if this approach is technically possible and can lower urinary and bowel side effects while still controlling the cancer.
