NCT ID NCT07145437
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test can predict which prostate cancer patients will have late side effects from a precise type of radiation therapy called SBRT. About 220 men aged 60 or older with low- or intermediate-risk prostate cancer will give a blood sample before treatment. Researchers will then track side effects and quality of life for 5 years to see if the test results match who develops complications. The goal is to help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient and avoid severe side effects.
