New radiation cocktail aims to tame tough prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a treatment plan for men with aggressive prostate cancer that combines hormone therapy, external beam radiation, and a precise internal radiation implant. The goal is to see if this approach causes fewer side effects while still controlling the cancer. About 60 men with unfavorable-intermediate to very high-risk prostate cancer are taking part.
