Zapping muscles to fight cancer treatment side effects
NCT ID NCT05745844
Summary
This study is testing whether adding electrical muscle stimulation to a standard exercise and nutrition program helps men with prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy. The goal is to see if this extra step helps them maintain strength in their thigh muscles, which can weaken due to treatment. Researchers will compare the leg strength of two groups of patients after six months.
