First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at how men from different racial and ethnic backgrounds think about their genetic risk for prostate cancer. Researchers asked 100 men aged 40 and older who had never had prostate cancer to share their beliefs and provide a saliva sample for genetic testing. The goal was to better understand men's willingness to learn about their genetic risk and to help improve future screening approaches.
