New hope for prostate cancer patients in Early-Stage drug trial

NCT ID NCT05367440

Summary

This early-stage clinical trial is testing whether adding an experimental drug called AZD5305 to standard hormone therapies is safe and effective for men with metastatic prostate cancer. The study involves about 174 patients and will measure side effects, how the drugs work in the body, and early signs of whether the combination helps control the cancer. Treatment continues until the cancer progresses or side effects become too severe.
