New study aims to improve prostate cancer diagnosis in african american and white men

Summary

This study compares two biopsy methods—standard random biopsy and MRI-guided fusion biopsy—to see which better detects significant prostate cancer in African American and white men with elevated PSA levels. About 288 men will participate. The goal is to improve accuracy and reduce unnecessary procedures.
