Summary
This study looks at a new way to diagnose serious prostate cancer in men aged 50 to 75 with high PSA levels. Instead of always doing a biopsy, men first get an MRI. Only those with suspicious MRI results get a biopsy, and researchers compare two biopsy methods to see which finds dangerous cancers while avoiding overdiagnosis of harmless ones. The goal is to reduce unnecessary procedures and improve patient care.
