Doctors test Two-in-One prostate procedure

NCT ID NCT05311527

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested the safety of combining two procedures for men with prostate cancer and an enlarged prostate (BPH). First, doctors implanted a small device (UroLift) to relieve urinary symptoms from the enlarged prostate. Then, patients received a targeted, high-dose radiation treatment (SAbR) for their cancer. The main goal was to see if doing both procedures was safe and didn't cause unexpected side effects.
