Blood test vs. scan: new study seeks better prostate cancer tracking

Summary

This study aims to see if a simple blood test can provide similar information to a specialized PET scan for tracking prostate cancer. Researchers will enroll 80 patients who are already scheduled for the scan. They will compare the blood test results with the scan images and the patient's health outcomes over time to see if they match.
