New study tracks prostate cancer patients choosing watchful waiting

Summary
This study follows 100 men with low- or very low-risk prostate cancer who choose active surveillance (monitoring instead of immediate treatment). Researchers will use remote symptom tracking and tissue samples to see how the disease progresses over 5 years. The goal is to learn who can safely avoid treatment and to build a resource for future discoveries.
