Can a stronger radiation blast beat prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT03424850

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a higher dose of radiation directly to the prostate (called HDR brachytherapy) can better control early-stage prostate cancer. About 36 men with low- or favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer will receive one of three dose levels. Researchers will track cancer control via PSA levels and monitor side effects over time.
