Summary

This study compares two ways to check for prostate cancer in men with elevated PSA levels: the current approach of giving everyone an MRI, versus using a risk calculator to decide who needs an MRI and biopsy. The goal is to see if the risk calculator is just as good at finding dangerous cancers while reducing unnecessary procedures and anxiety. About 1,000 men with suspected prostate cancer will take part.
