Electric signals restore sense of hand position in amputees

Summary
This study tests whether small electric currents applied to nerves can give upper limb amputees a sense of where their missing hand is in space. Researchers will try different stimulation placements to see which ones create these sensations. The goal is to use this feedback to help people control a prosthetic hand more naturally. The study involves up to 8 participants with arm amputations.
