NCT ID NCT02602678
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether placing infants with severe bronchiolitis on their stomachs (prone position) makes it easier for them to breathe. Sixteen babies under 6 months old on breathing support were tested in both face-down and face-up positions. The goal was to see if the face-down position reduces the effort needed to breathe.
