New study explores how genetic risk scores shape ovarian cancer decisions
NCT ID NCT06436248
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study interviews 24 women aged 25 or older who have a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation to learn how they might use polygenic risk scores and multi-cancer early detection tests when deciding about cancer screening or risk-reducing surgery. The goal is to better understand women's attitudes and decision-making, not to test a treatment. Results will help guide future conversations between patients and doctors.
