Summary

This study tested if prolotherapy (sugar water injections) can reduce pain and improve function in people with chronic low back pain from worn-out spine joints. Sixty adults aged 40-70 received either sugar water, steroid, or salt water injections. Researchers measured pain and disability at 1 and 3 months to see which worked best.
