Extra progesterone shots may boost IVF success for women with low hormone levels

NCT ID NCT07613528

First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether giving extra progesterone injections for 6 weeks after a positive pregnancy test can improve live birth rates in women aged 18-37 who have low progesterone levels after a fresh embryo transfer. Half of the 214 participants will receive the extra progesterone shots, and the other half will get placebo injections. The goal is to see if this approach helps more women have a healthy baby.
