First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at 175 people who had surgery for a serious type of brain bleed called acute subdural hematoma. Researchers wanted to find out which factors, like age, level of consciousness, and blood thinner use, best predict recovery. They followed patients for up to 12 months to see how well they recovered. The goal is to help doctors better predict outcomes and plan care for future patients.
