New study uses MRI to watch prostate cancer shrink after precision radiation
NCT ID NCT06822491
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at 28 men with localized prostate cancer to see how the main tumor changes on MRI scans after a precise type of radiation called stereotactic body radiotherapy. Researchers want to know if early MRI changes match up with drops in PSA levels. The goal is to better understand how well the radiation works, not to test a new treatment.
