Summary
This study tested whether problem-solving therapy (PST) — a short, practical talk therapy — could improve mental well-being in adults with type 2 diabetes or heart disease. 147 participants with poor mental health received PST in their regular doctor's office. The goal was to see if this approach reduces depression and anxiety after 12 months.
