Summary
This study tested whether a combination of two probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus and Limosilolactobacillus reuteri) could shorten the duration of diarrhea in children aged 1 to 6 years with acute infectious diarrhea. Researchers measured how long diarrhea lasted and how many children were diarrhea-free after 72 hours. The study involved 145 children and aimed to see if these friendly bacteria could ease symptoms and improve gut health.
