NCT ID NCT07582965
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a daily probiotic supplement could reduce pain, fatigue, and cognitive issues in women with fibromyalgia. 97 participants took either a multi-strain probiotic or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, sleep, mood, and quality of life using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if improving gut bacteria could help manage fibromyalgia symptoms.
