Summary
This study tested whether taking a probiotic powder for 6 months could improve blood sugar and kidney function in 50 adults with diabetic kidney disease. The probiotics were designed to change gut bacteria, reduce stress on the body, and help control sugar and fat levels. The goal was to see if this simple addition could slow down kidney disease progression.
