Summary
This study tested in a lab how two probiotic products and five types of drugs (antibiotics, acid reducers, painkillers, anxiety meds, and antidepressants) affect gut bacteria from human stool samples. The goal was to see changes in bacterial activity and chemical production. The study was stopped early and involved 14 healthy adults and children.
