First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether it is practical and acceptable for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to take a probiotic drink daily for 12 weeks. Twenty-nine adults with MS drank 70 ml of a probiotic each day and completed online questionnaires, cognitive tests, and stool samples. The main goal was to see if people would stick with the drink and report any side effects, while also exploring changes in symptoms and quality of life.
