Could a daily probiotic pill stop painful UTIs from coming back?
NCT ID NCT06857565
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific probiotic supplement can help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. It will compare two groups of 84 women with a history of frequent UTIs: one group takes the probiotic for 90 days, and the other group takes a standard supplement for 30 days. Researchers will track how many UTIs participants get over a full year to see if the probiotic reduces infections.
