Friendly bacteria vs. bladder infections: new hope for women

NCT ID NCT06857565

Summary

This study is testing whether a probiotic supplement containing specific 'good' bacteria can help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women who get them frequently. Researchers are comparing two groups of 84 women: one receives the probiotic for 90 days, and the other receives a standard supplement for 30 days. The main goal is to see if the probiotic reduces the number of bladder infections over a full year.
