Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily probiotic called Lactobacillus reuteri for 4 weeks can reduce skin damage in people with obesity. Researchers will measure how much water the skin loses and check gut and skin bacteria. 140 adults aged 18-40 with a BMI of 30 or higher and dry or irritated skin will take either the live probiotic or an inactive placebo.
