Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic supplement can prevent excessive crying and colic in healthy newborns. Researchers will give either the probiotic or a placebo to about 768 infants starting in their first two weeks of life and follow them for 3 months. The main goal is to see if babies taking the probiotic cry and fuss less and have fewer colic episodes.
