NCT ID NCT07562633

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to help people with social anxiety by training them to replace negative thoughts with positive or neutral ones. 54 university students with high social anxiety were split into two groups: one practiced proactive thought control with AI feedback, the other responded freely. The goal was to see if this training could reduce negative core beliefs and anxiety symptoms. Results will help design larger future studies.
